Each piece in what is now a visual playlist of “Truluv”-themed posters is a reflection of my gut responses to particular songs; they are meant to be quick glimpses into how I visualized the song through the filter of my emotions at a particular moment in time. Some are somber, others are funny.

Jenner & Block is a national law firm headquartered in Chicago that has a proud history, a strong commitment to public service and an exceptional team of lawyers that includes some of the country’s leading minds in the field. The new website allows for a show, don’t tell presentation. The home page features a custom video consisting of time lapse videography shot from each of their four locations and combined with real employees interacting in the foreground. The result is a conceptual testament to the quality of their people and their collective vision.

The new site features dual navigation as well as a tabular page system that allows for a multitude of content on any given page. Additionally, any page on the website can be downloaded as a PDF, emailed, printed or added to the Virtual File.

The Our People section introduces you to the Jenner team by greeting you with a new set of lawyers upon each visit. Locating a lawyer is also very simple. Search results are loaded dynamically and can be filtered down by practice area, location, law school, role, or clerkship.

Bio pages give each lawyer a unique voice by highlighting individual achievements as well as service to the community.

The “Your Path at Jenner & Block” feature under the “Join Us” section, speaks to potential recruits by highlighting key messages and testimonials through unique functionality.

The Library houses all documents, past and present. The most recent events, publications or news items are shown upon visiting but search results are dynamically loaded in place depending on your search criteria.

A Search lightbox loads overtop of the current page so you never lose your place in the site.

The Virtual File feature  is an adaptation of the familiar shopping cart feature found in e-commerce sites. It allows the user to assemble and then package a custom PDF document built from any assets on the site that can be saved and then shared as the user sees fit.

My Crank is My Engine was designed for Moving Design’s Our Road exhibition on bicycle safety.

This print promotion needed to provide a similar experience to the website while arriving on someone’s actual desk instead of on their monitor, so we used materials and processes that beg to be touched and for attention in a decidedly non-electronic way.

The type illustrates all the fancy new things the site does… in a non-fancy way.

The new Faust website takes queues from the previous website but showcases the work much more prominently with the use of scalable full-screen imagery.

Menus and description boxes are collapsible to provide an unobstructed view.

Scalable full-screen video helps demonstrate complex folded projects as well as screen captures of Faust websites.

All projects are shareable via popular social networks and email.

Scalable full-screen Google Street View and Map View help the user navigate through the winding roads of Riverside.

Logo color changes based on background color so it’s never lost.

The new (Un)Viewbook for Roosevelt University reflects the uniqueness and diversity of the school. A series of fourteen booklets can be connected to each other through the use of a vertical pocket on the back cover, making the book customizable to each individual prospective student’s various interests.

Inspired by Peter Saville, topographic text suggests a wavy lakefront.

The school’s principles of social justice are reflected on back-cover interstitials with visual textures created using Processing and Scriptographer.

Using Scriptographer and a variety of shapes, this portrait is composed rather quickly with a definite nod to Mr. Close.

Statistics pages come with geometric graphic enforcement.

Countless dots create countless people to further strengthen the message.

Many ways to say hello with many business administration student groups.
