Illinois Housing Council Conference

In partnership with the Illinois Housing Council, I was commissioned by the Illinois Housing and Development Authority to craft the identity for their annual conference on affordable housing. Drawing inspiration from the sense of independence and pride associated with homeownership, I centered the design around a simple yet evocative image of roofs against a blue sky. The lead image featured a kite, serving as a guiding element and setting the design direction for the entire system. This comprehensive system encompassed electronic invitations, a multi-page printed invitation/program, signage, badges, and a looping visual presentation projected throughout the opening evening's events.
